How to change your site's theme

Here's how to change the look of your site without affecting your content.

Updated over a week ago

A theme is like the skin of your site, it affects styles and graphical elements of your site's design without altering any of your actual content.

Changing Your Site Theme

By changing your theme, you can completely update the look, feel and layout of your Siimple site.

How to Change Your Theme

  1. Go to the ‘Design’ Tab: Click on the ‘Design’ tab in your Siimple Editor.

  2. Select a Theme: Choose a new theme from the dropdown menu to see different layout options.

  3. Preview Your Changes: Select it to see how your site will look with the new theme. This preview is temporary and will not change your site until you Save the changes

  4. Save the Theme: If you’re happy with the preview, click the ‘Save Changes’ button at the bottom of the modal to update your site. Your content will remain exactly as it is, but with a new appearance.

💡 Feel free to explore various themes to find the one that best matches your style. Changing themes is a quick and easy and can be done as many times as you'd like!

What Happens When You Change Your Theme?

  • Content Remains the Same: Changing your theme won’t affect your text, images, site colors or fonts. It simply adjusts the layout, and style and certain graphical elements of your content to give it a new appearance.

  • New Layouts, Same Content: Your content is automatically reformatted into new sections and styles based on the theme you choose, providing a fresh look without changing the information itself.
