Don’t worry — you’re not moving your domain or breaking anything. You’re just telling it where your website lives.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
A published Siimple website
Your custom domain name (example:
yourbusiness.com)Access to your Hostinger account
Step 1: Copy your Siimple DNS records
Log in to your Siimple dashboard
Open the site you want to connect a domain to
Go to Settings → Domain
Copy the DNS records shown (you’ll use these in a minute)
You’ll usually see:
A record (points your domain to our servers)
CNAME record (for
www)
Leave this page open.
Step 2: Log in to Hostinger
Go to hostinger.com and log in
From the main dashboard, click Domains
Select the domain you want to connect
Click DNS / Nameservers or DNS Zone Editor
Step 3: Update your DNS records
You’ll now match what’s in Siimple with what’s in Hostinger.
Add or update the A record
Type: A
Name / Host:
@Points to / IP Address: (use the IP shown in Siimple)
TTL: Default
If an A record already exists for @, edit it instead of adding a new one.
Add or update the CNAME record (for www)
Type: CNAME
Name / Host:
wwwPoints to / Target: (use the value shown in Siimple)
TTL: Default
If a www CNAME already exists, update it.
Step 4: Remove conflicting records (important)
If you see any of the following for @ or www, remove them:
Extra A records
Old CNAME records
Parking or forwarding records
You want only one A record for @ and one CNAME for www.
Step 5: Save your changes
Click Save in Hostinger.
That’s it — your domain is now pointing to Siimple 🎉
Step 6: Wait for DNS to propagate
Domain changes aren’t instant!
Usually takes 15–60 minutes
Can take up to 24 hours in rare cases
Your site may load on one device before another — that’s normal.
Still stuck?
If your site isn’t showing after 24 hours:
Double-check your records match Siimple exactly
Make sure there are no duplicate A or CNAME records
