Unpublishing removes your site from the live web, but does not delete your work. You can continue editing and republish whenever you’re ready.
How to Unpublish Your Site
Open your site in the Siimple Editor
Click on the Settings tab
Scroll down to the bottom of the page
Click Unpublish Site
Click Save
That’s it. Your site will no longer be publicly accessible.
What Happens When You Unpublish?
Your website is no longer visible to visitors
Your custom domain (if connected) will stop showing your site
You will still be charged for your active subscription
You can still access and edit your site inside Siimple
You can republish anytime with one click
When Would I Unpublish?
You might want to unpublish your site if:
You’re redesigning it and don’t want visitors to see updates in progress
You’re pausing your business temporarily
You published by mistake
You need to make major changes before going live again
If you’re unsure whether you should unpublish or just make edits while live, remember: small edits can usually be done while your site stays published. Unpublishing is best for larger changes or temporary downtime.
How to Republish Your Site
If you’ve previously unpublished your site and you're ready to make it live again, you can republish it anytime.
Republishing makes your site publicly accessible again at your existing URL or custom domain.
Open your site in the Siimple Editor
Click the Publish button in the top right corner
Confirm that you want to publish
Your site will go live immediately.
