Each page section you create has a hidden 'anchor tag'. This can by used to link directly to a specific page section on your site.
For example, if you have http://mysiimplesite.com
and you have added the page section called 'About' and added it to your navigation, you can append the anchor tag to the end of your URL like this:
http://mysiimple.com/#about
All you need to do is add a backslash, a hashtag symbol and the name of the section.
π‘ If you changed the name of your navigation item, the anchor tag will be the default name of the section, NOT the name you gave it.
Example:
You add a 'Features' section to your site
You link to it in your navigation and you change the name to 'Benefits'
Even though the name you see in your navigation says 'Benefits'
The anchor link is still the default name of the section 'Features'
So make sure to use the default name of the section you want to link to.
Once you've made your link, you can now use it to create a text link on your site, or share it with someone so that it takes them directly to that specific page section.
