Siimple does not offer email services directly, however, you can utilize your own email service provider and connect it to the domain address that you purchased through Siimple.
Steps to Setting up a Custom Email Address
Step 1: Choose an email hosting provider
First, you'll need to choose an Email Hosting Provider that offers domain-based email services. Popular options include:
Google Workspace: Reliable, easy to set up, and comes with other Google services.
Microsoft 365: Offers Outlook email with your domain, along with other Office apps.
Zoho Mail: A cost-effective option, especially for small businesses.
Step 2: Sign Up for an Email Service (such as Google Workspace)
Go to the provider and sign up using your domain name (e.g., yourdomain.com). Choose the email service plan that suits your needs.
Step 3: Copy your verification record
During the setup process, you will prompted to verify your domain ownership. This usually involves adding a verification TXT record to your domain’s DNS settings.
Step 4: Send us the record information
You will need to send this information to Siimple so that we can configure your email address for you. Copy the TXT record information and send it to us via chat or email
Google for example will provide a TXT record that you need to add to your DNS settings. It usually looks something like google-site-verification=xxxxxx
Step 5: Verify your domain on your email provider's site
Wait for confirmation from us that your record has been added then go back to your account in your email service provider and click the “Verify” button to confirm that your domain ownership is verified.
Step 6: Send us the MX Records for your Email Address
You'll be prompted to set up MX records. Your email provider will have specific MX records that you need to add to your DNS settings in Siimple. Send us those records so that we may add them to your website.
Step 6: Access your new email
Go back to your email service provider and create your email accounts (e.g., [email protected]). You can now access your email!
